New report released urging repeal of s.67 of Canadian Human Rights Act

Published on January 31, 2008 by Donna Seale

Thanks to Michel-Adrien Sheppard (aka Library Boy) for his post regarding the release this week of a new report by the Canadian Human Rights Commission urging the federal government to proceed with repealing section 67 of the Canadian Human Rights Act.  Those of you who read my post yesterday will be aware that pursuant section 67, members of First Nations are prevented from having the same human rights protections and access to ways to address human rights violations as non-First Nations.
