Policy review and development

Written workplace human rights-related policies can help form the foundation of an employer’s legal defence should it be faced with a complaint of discrimination or harassment.  Well-drafted policies and procedures can go a long way toward minimizing an organization’s liability, while defective ones lead to court cases.  Properly written, communicated and implemented policies and procedures can also make an employer’s internal processes more attractive than other possible options for employees to address their concerns.

I help employers with the development, implementation or review of their human rights policies and practices, including establishing in-house systems to resolve human rights complaints or issues.  Whether you need me just to double-check the work you’ve already done or you are starting from scratch and need assistance at every step, I provide a range of price points to accommodate your needs.

Once the policy work is done, need an education roll-out?  I can do that too.  I’ll provide customized training for your workplace to teach employees, supervisors and/or executives what they need to know to enhance their understanding of the policy and how it should operate.
